From 50lbs up to feeling like myself again..

When I stepped on the scale and saw I’d gained 50lbs during pregnancy, I wasn’t shocked..I knew it was coming. My body had been through so much, and honestly? I can't say i'd embraced it. But what I didn’t expect was how disconnected I’d feel from my body afterward.

The soles of my feet hurt just walking around the house. My fitness levels were so low I couldn’t even do a single jumping jack without feeling completely out of breath. And let me tell you, as someone who’s job is a fitness coach who has to film regular workouts, I was nervous i'd never get back to work on time.

It felt like I had so far to go.

But here’s the thing.. I didn’t panic. I didn’t spiral into crash diets or punish myself with grueling workouts. I didn’t worry, because I knew exactly what I needed to do.

I had the education, the tools, and the plan to get back to feeling like me again.

And I want you to know this, It wasn’t about perfection. It wasn’t about bouncing back overnight. It was about small, consistent steps that fit into my life as a new mum.

I started with what I could manage, short walks, gentle movements, and fueling my body (with the odd club biscuit here and there). No extremes, no guilt, no pressure. Just a sustainable approach that worked for me.

Fast forward, and I’m here to tell you, It’s possible. You can lose the weight, rebuild your strength, and feel confident in your body again..without sacrificing your sanity or joy.
